As an equity partner Aura Capital is not restricted by a sector or timing of a dedicated fund consequently having freedom in terms of sector, size, investment stage and tenure of the investment. However, Aura Capital principally invests in start-up and early-stage companies with exceptional intellectual property and growth potential and hence the investments typically fall in areas such as software, mobile technology, biotechnology and nanotechnology. Our investments can range from a very small investment to a typical 500k – 1.5m € in the first financing round. The total investment can be considerably larger over the life of a company.
